Lidl's are selling motorbike stuff at the moment- tankbags, back protectors, chargers, boots, jackets & trousers etc.

Some of it's a bit cheap & nasty but I've just bought some over trousers for £40 which seem pretty decent...worth having a look if your passing

Went in yesterday for a look. Most of the good stuff had already gone. Jackets looked very reasonable, with all the right tags re: waterproofing etc., but they only had the very small sizes left. The same applied to the trousers, only small ladies sizes left. They did however have a magnetic map holder for two pounds and ninety nine pence, which looked very good. Unfortuanately I decided "I don't need one!", didn't buy it, and now wish I had! If I go back tomorrow they will probably all be gone........

Looking at the tags from the trousers I bought, they are Cordura, teflon coated,Scotchlite reflective strips, breathable 'z-liner' (like gortex),CE tested armour(Knees). zip out thermal liner stitching looks OK.  They seem pretty good for £40 and the jackets looked much the same.  How waterproof they are I'll find out next time it rains!
