Hi all:
After going through two expensive and hard-to-find CDI boxes on my SP400, I decided to convert it to points ignition. The SP370 had points. I had to swap the camshaft, head, an rocker box, not to mention the mechanical advance and points. The non-electronic ignition SP370 has two wires coming from the magneto. The e-ignition SP400 has a whole bunch. I could run the battery positive to the points, but I would rather not keep the charging system.
Does anyone what wire(s) to connect from my SP400 magneto directly to my coil? Coils on both bikes have same part numbers. Thanks in advance!
