With due regard to conversation with as many members in the club that I can contact I have provisionally booked the campsite at Dent again for the weekend of Friday 20th, Saturday 21st, Sunday 22nd of July 2007.
As per this year's event you will be able to come earlier or stay later if you wish.
The usual marquee will be there as will some sort of curry / chili for the Friday evening and I hope to sort out some form of outside catering for the Saturday evening, possibly a Hog roast. The catering is at this moment in time not fixed and neither is the appointed time but we should book early as the campsite is very popular at that time of the year. Should you wish to discuss the date then lets have some feedback, if not then I will, on behalf of the clubmembers, fix a date with Mick and Wendy at the farm.
I would like to propose that we also appoint someone to take formal bookings and ticketing as I suspect that as this years event went so well we just might get a bit bigger and I for one will need to know of attendance for organizing some of the features, any volunteers?
.................and before anyone jumps up and says "why so soon" I would like to reiterate that the site gets busy and I have had a request from 'Big Bill' to get a date organized, this will I hope also help others to organise their year planner.
