Honda CB360 cush drive bushes
« on: September 10, 2009, 05:53:00 PM »
Sorry for the  question, but has anyone had any experience with trying to remove the rear sprocket from the hub of a honda CB360. There are 4 studs pressed into the sprocket and these are then pushed into the cush drive bushes, except in this case it required a puller to separate the sprocket from the hub. One of the pins was completely seized into the bush and half pulled the bush from the hub. We heated the hub to remove this so now we are left with the pin seized in the bush, is there a way of removing the pin without destroying the bush also there are 3 bushes left in the hub and you cannot really get to the back of them easily. Can I just replace one bush if I have to heat it to remove the pin? The bushes looks just like landrover spring bushes and the only way to get those out when they are seized is to burn them out.
In the haynes manual it just says "undo and remove"
Regards Christine

In a word no, but I think the wheel is the same as on the 350K4 - I will try and have a look over the weekend.
