Humm I have been in his taxi.
No1 son learned to ride a bike without stabalisers about 2 months ago. Belting round the garden, trying to go up the bank, using shins as brake on the chain wheel etc. He wanted a bit more so I set a plank on the ground and got him to ride along it, when he could do this a couple of bricks were called into use etc etc. Ended up with a little ramp and No1 zooming up it and off the end. Then as if in slow mo he got the front wheel off the side, crossed up and over the bars, chest pinned atop the end of the bars and over he went. I am sure if filmed it would have looked similar.
Mind he picked himself up - crying - hit me for being so silly as to make a ramp that did not work, jumped on his bike and zoooooommmmmm - tears still flowing.
Bless him -- in the bath that night he had a neat round very dark bruise in the middle of his sternum, I am convinced you could see the hole where the corkscrew had gone in - the end of the bars are plugged with old corks, have seen the mess unplugged bars can make to a body.
