Bit of a lie in this morning....then out with the dogs for half an hour, collected some of those huge field mushrooms from the horses paddock, collected 6 eggs from the chickens, and a bag full of tomatoes from the greenhouse, got back indoors, fed the dogs, then fried up some bacon and the eggs mushrooms and tomatoes, fried up a bit of home-made bread, sat down with the local paper and scoffed the lot, and a glass of fresh orange juice. Finished reading the paper, then went out and washed / polished / lubricated number 1 srx (got pretty filthy on the Cadwell trip/trackday on tuesday) . Phoned up number 1 son, met up and went to snetterton, him on his morini me on the srx, to enjoy watching a days classic bike racing, fabulous racing, they really do give those bikes a caning. The chairs were brilliant, lot of dutch and german over for the weekend one with an ex Camathius outfit (if you remember him you really are old!)
AndyM might like to know that Gourlay (he also races in supermono) high sided a 350 molnar manx coming out of russells! takes a bit of doing on a 350 single!.
Back home just in time for tea and a bottle of good wine......its a hell of a life, but someones got to do it.
It's not all roses......going for tea round the mother-in-law's tomorrow
