Thank you, I hope to also be able to help in some way, although my Honda incarnation ended in 2013 and a year ago I started with Ariel BSA and recently Meriden Triumph twins as well, just working part time. Semi retired but without a pension, is how I like to descibe it as I doubt I'll ever manage more than 3 to 4 hours a day. Only 11 more years and the pension will be here, and probably I'll still have to carry on working as well until I can no more.

I hope that Bungay treats you well!  ;)  A native of that fair town lives nearbye to me and shares a similar single cylinder afflication with me.

Hope the "retirement" works for you. I used to have a 1927 Ariel Model B, I found on a croft being used to power a sawbench via a belt from the back wheel. Draganfly supplied me with some bits and pieces, but I moved the beastie on as I had to move for my employment. That was way back in the early '80's and I suspect that Ariel spares alone are no longer sufficient to keep the business afloat.
