This is my oldest SR500 and just needs the carb sorted, apart from that it's sorted!

When I respoked the wheels I fancied a Bluespot caliper up front, it is mated to a FZR1000 front disk and looks the business!

Morning Ron, yes mate very nice collection of mosheens you have there. Yes I agree with you on the blue spot front disc conversion, looks well smart. I assume it's the original sr500 hub??....cheers, Michael

Mi Michael,
original front hub and I just had to use spacers to get the disk lined up with the caliper. I think I ended up with 4mm clearance between disk and fork leg!

I couldnt put the disk any closer to the hub as the brake caliper would have hit the spokes. All a bit of a fiddle to set up but sorted now.

Do love the SR's, have all the standard bits for mine but changed this one around. Dont like chopping frames etc so I can always put a bike back to standard.
