Are there any other footrests that will fit the XBR's main footrest points? I fancy metal as opposed to rubber, but not really fussed.

I've seen this sort of universal footrest fitted.
Personally I think they look a bit crap. Don't know if solid metal rests are a good idea on a big single,vibes might get a bit intrusive.

Hi Dave, the footpegs on my VFR750 (circa 1989) look like they should fit. If I get a chance this weekend, I'll try to see if they fit and (if so) how bad the vibes are.
BTW - how is the rebuild coming along?

OK but slow so far- i thought other Honda models might fit, but i wasn't sure which ones...

I made my own for the SRX, solid aluminium, they dont vibrate any more than rubber mounted ones
