Broken glass on temp gauge on SZR. Still works so no biggy really.

But could I just bung on any old gauge I might find ie are the voltages much the same or would I need a proper Yamaha job?

Many thanks

Being a round gauge, you may be able to get the glass replaced. Removing the bezel can be done easily and a glazier could cut a new lens for you, or you could fashion one youself from a bit of perspex

I notice among your bikes you have a Silver Wing. Is it CX thing ot a moden scooter type. I had the 500 silver wing but it used to frighten the living daylights out of me when riding. So unstable when crossong any small ridges in the road.

Managed to use an old UV filter off a camera. Screwed straight on :)
