Mind you, the perspex flyscreen has now been replaced by a larger bikini-style handlebar fairing, and the tiny saddlebags shown have defected across the shed to my Ducati Monster 900 and been replaced on the Bullet by larger ones. After some tedious piston-melting and cam spindle-seizing troubles earlier this year, the 612cc "Beast of Burton" is now once again happy to cruise at a genuine 95 mph on 2/3 throttle, and should be back at Santa Pod dragstrip in the spring......
