I have a mate with an XT600,I think it's an E model,that is causing him some grief.He says that any gearchanges are accompanied by horrible crunching and grinding and that neutral is almost impossible to find.To me it sounds like the clutch is dragging,hopefully caused by something as simple as bad adjustment or wear in the clutch basket.If it is just something like the clutch then I don't mind pulling it to bits for him but what I don't want to do is end up taking the gearbox to pieces.I am not familiar with XT 600s so if anyone can offer any advise I would be grateful.
