I am reluctantly resigning to a bit of maintainance!

Can folks recomment a supplier for chain and sprockets?

And does anyone know of an alternative for the very poor quality fans?!

Dunno about the chains and sprockets down your way but a bloke up here said the trick for the noisy fans is to take them off lay them on their backs and soak the bearings with 3in1, apparently that quiets them down for a good while before you have to do it again...
and if that sort of thing bothers you, it's close to free  ;) :P

Agree about the fans business, used to do it all the time with noisy PC fans - you'd be amazed at how little lube they put in these things at the factory.

As for chains'n'stuff, I get a lot of bits from WEMoto - usually very quick service and not too badly priced.
