Originally I ran the stock downpipes with a couple of bits of 6" long pipe on the ends, that was a bit loud for the scrutineers

I tested the stock downpipes with some aftermarket 'Triton' style silencers which worked well but didn't have the top end power of the HRC pipe. I'm looking to get some pipes made up that are the same outside dimensions as the stock downpipes, I think that will work quite well. The HRC pipe tucks under the engine and I don't think I can fit a catch tray under it as it stands.

The Micron exhaust works very well even with an HRC cam. For road use (not that relevant here) its way faster in probably 95% of circumstances and pulls like a train in the midrange.
