Srx Cadwell

Decided to change the srx race bike for Cadwell (the front was a little heavy on the steering due to a 120 profile tyre on a fzr 17"rim coupled with a std. 18" rear)
Have fitted a 17" tzr250 front wheel & 110 tyre (pirelli sport demon?, already fitted) but might fit a slick front tyre for Cadwell if weather looks ok?. All seems ok.
So the front now consists of tzr250 yokes & stem, home made lightweight steel clip on's, a remote brakefluid res. & a race AP master cyl., 1 stainless braided line to a four pot caliper (Nissin) grabbing a single tzr disc. Forks are tzr250 items reworked by Maxton.
The rear remains std. at the moment but might change that over the winter as the whole bike will have a makeover ready as a spare for next season (ooohh what luxury!) The engine certainly needs a refresh as it's not been touched since I got the bike in 1995 (so it's lasted quite well for a race tuned engine- somebody knew what they were doing when they put this one together!)

As soon as Cadwell is over, it's straight into the garage, not only for this one but we have at least three other bikes to build for next season, which, as always, will be on us in a flash, so no time to waste.
Bike 1-will be the Quest framed XT640, FZR400 wheels (more to follow later)

Bike 2-Srx620 spare bike (see above)

Bike 3-Will try to fit a Yam Srx/Xt engine into a Tigcraft frame sitting in the shed with a tuned XBR500 motor in it at the moment (nice engine, but we have decided to get rid of all honda gear, & there is a lot of it (mostly xbr), give me a call if you want bits, Its all for sale, some race stuff & some std stuff-engines-barrels-pistons-clutch stuff-cables-carbs-gear stuff- cdi's-etc. etc.

Bike 4-A 600cc race bike using mostly modified srx parts.

Bike 5-A 400cc std(ish) bike same as 600 above (for young John to get lots of practice on!)

& if we have time (ha ha ha ), might try a 250cc mono using a CBX250 engine in a lightweight frame?

Hey John!

Thats certainly a good way of using up all your spares!!!

See you at Cadwell, looking forward to it.  110 is a good move on the front of that one I think.

And it sounds like you'll be needing more riders for 2008!!

Cheers for now, see you at the weekend, will bring that tank for you.

I'm already committed to next season! all being well at home?
Simon has committed to next season as a novice!
Young John is undecided as yet as he needs a lot more experience on a bike?
& Maybe another rider joining in? (I'm working hard on it!)

So I think we have enough to start with!

see you at Cadwell ::)
