Michael, as requested, couple more pics of (virtually) completed bike. Just a bit of detailing to do. Seat "cowel" is for Mr MOTer's benefit. It will be removed for normal use 😂

Thank you for your lovely comments. This one has been an exceptionally frustrating restoration, due to exorbitant increasing of prices of original parts and trying to get work done that is beyond my capabilities.

SRX just passed it's first MOT at the ripe old age of 34!
Just filling in form V55/5 now....👍😁🏍

Believe it or not Michael the exhaust never had a mention 😱.
I think I'll make it a bit louder now 🤣.
When I got home I noticed a bit of misting from the RH fork seal (fork stanchions were rechromed along with new Yamaha seals/dust covers). On dismantling I found out that I had omitted the steel spacer that goes between the fork top bush and the oil seal. 🤭.
All sorted now with no fork leak. Phewww.
Just waiting for the registration  now. 🤞
