No bids. May be worth a cheeky offer. Not my cup of borscht however.

I like it! ( though with the current situation I'm not sure how well Russian bikes would be received at the moment :-\)

The Wolf was designed by UralMoto in conjuction with the Moskow Biker gang 'The Night Wolves'. I had some pre production photos when I did the Cossack Owners Club Newsletter  which showed the bike with much lower bars and it looked a lot better than the Ape Hangers. Can't remember now if it was a hardtail ( the Cobra was and use to destroy the shaft drive).

Imported by UralMoto Uk but I don't think they sold many.

Oh, another bit of Ural Wolf trivia has just downloaded from the floppy disc of my brain (very slow download speeds)

When they brought the first batch over for press releases, test rides etc, they thought it would be a good idea to have the word 'WOLF' emblasoned on the bike in cyrillic for that rufty, tufty look........

.....unfortunately,  WOLF in cyrillic reads......

  ..............BONK..!! :o :o

......Oh dear...... :-\

That sounds similar to a big road freight company that is based fairly locally. The wagons (and there’s quite a few) are emblazoned with the words ...JODA freight.
However joda translated says F....K in Spanish 🤦???🤦???
Oh how it makes me giggle every time I see one 😁😁

I can kind of see the attraction and certainly the irony in a Russian attempt at the Harley image  ;D

Crude transport for a subjugated rural population and cannon fodder.  :(

I cannae get excited about it.

My local landlord/firewood merchant/wheeler dealer has a penchant for delivering wood in 1 tonne bags in the sidecar, carting washing machines etc to and from his rental properties and the occasional stack of pallets, along with a trailer attached, using one of the two wheel drive variants! ::)  Maximum speed is 35 mph, never cleaned, topped up with oil and petrol and just keeps running.

As for purchasing a new one or a "Chopper" variant that strident Capitalist cry of "Choice!" comes to mind, but what a choice.   ::) :-X :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Good health, Bill

The Russian word for wolf is pronounced VOLK and only looks like BONK funny though that is. When I was in Bosnia some of the guys I was with drank a local beer they called HEKWOP. I hadn't the heart to tell them the cyrillic letters actually read as close to NECTAR as a translitteration could get.

Sorry grammar school boy of the 70s when we were being groomed to be spies!
