Following my thoughts on a Fanny-B....
« on: July 19, 2020, 03:25:08 PM »
.. I've been thinking about the Guzzi and Norton. I've had my V50 for around 3 years - and the Norton ES2 for a similar period. I am now finding that the Norton is almost always my first choice when I decide to go for a run. The Guzzi looks reproachfully at me when I drag the ES2 out and roar off down Icknield Street.

I did buy the V50 with an eye to resuming touring but I think that is now unlikely, and most of my riding is fairly local.

These thoughts have made me wonder whether it's time to let the Guzzi go, much as I like it. Would anybody here be interested? It had a professional paint job a couple of years ago, has Keihin stainless pipes & silencers, new stainless brake lines, pads and seals and starts, handles and runs very well. I'd be looking for £2,500 or so. I'll take some snaps when I get around to it.
