Whilst looking for specific SRX info. I came across this:

Not yet, but the garage is calling me this weekend. Stator replacement to be correct!

Boyd, if you remove the tank and battery you can lay the bike on its side and change the stator without dropping the oil. If the tanks not full you might even get away with just turning the tap of underneath the tank, rather than removing the whole thing.

Just a thought chaps (Read SteveH) can we store links like Boyds somewher on the site??? Might be useful for future referance long after this thread has popped of the front page. Just a thought :-)

If you go over the link, right click,save target as ,(change the name to what you want), you can save the file to your desk top.
