Title: Thinking of a change
Post by: Ian on December 28, 2021, 08:13:59 PM: As per the title....but I'm definitely KEEPING the SRX, I just wanted to make that clear 😁.
Time for the Trumpet Street Twin to go. It has lots of oomph and is very economical (on E5) averaging about 67-70mpg, but just TTG. I'm looking for another thumper. Got one in mind but with a difference....mind not fully made up yet but half way to deciding, inside leg determines my choice of steed mainly.....will keep you posted 😉

But as the local Honda garage didn't seem to care whether I bought a bike from them or not, the BMW won with far better customer attention, plus it has a lower seat height than the Honda. Simples!
Customer care seems to have taken a back seat now...( Or did it even exist? )

I have ridden 3 of these and they bring back a bit of fun to riding for me. I will certainly let you know how I get on. Delivery next Thursday/Friday. I'm in no rush but I have visited DVLA so the Triumph is no longer officially mine.
