Post by: Ian on February 15, 2021, 11:31:53 PM
Just received my latest issue of CMM. Apparently the April Show has been moved back to the weekend of July 3rd/4th.
Fingers crossed🤞

Does that mean I get even MORE time to get the tracker something like ready 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I could always just bring the spitfire if the tracker isn’t ready 🤭🤷???

What's the latest on the CCM Michael?

Evening Martin.
CCM got in touch a week or so ago to tell me that there will be a 3 to 4 week delay as the MSVA regulators have had to self isolate as one of them had tested positive for the virus. Bit of a shame but not like I’d be going out on it at the moment given the weather and lockdown.
Cheers, Michael

Sorry to hi=jack this thread! Patience is a virtue Michael! I well remember the foot and mouth crisis years ago when I was a very keen Stafford Show auto jumbler when a similar thing happened .Fingers crossed for everyone things will improve soon.

Doh..... sussed me out Ian. Can I make it up to you all by bringing the spitfire along with a few HUGE bags of jelly babies to the show (if it runs🤷???) in July 😉
Cheers, Michael
Ps... in my defence, I’ve  been extremely busy building our new house. No blinking furlough for yours truly 😟

I think we need advice and help from the South Wales people (Gareth & Co)

I have just emailed Mortons and told them we would like a club stand in July - i think its going to be a free for all as everyone will be wanting to get away, however Im hoping they will give some priority to the Clubs who showed an interest in Octobers show?

I'll keep you all posted - Good news Mike that the tracker is on target for completion in readiness for Stafford October 2022!!! ???

Take care all.

Gareth

Do I sense a touch of sarcasm in that message Gareth 🤣🤣🤣
I’ll have you know that the tracker is “almost” there. 🤣. I’ve got it so it can be wheeled in and then out, quite how we’ll stop it at the bottom of that big ramp is another matter, no brakes yet ya see 😮
Anyway, thanks for trying to sort it out Gareth. Fingers crossed we can all get down in july🤞🤞
Cheers, Michael

As if anyone would be sarcastic on this forum🙄🤪

Thanks once again Gareth for putting "the wheels in motion". Count me in for one (possibly 2 if needed)

I may have a thumper again by then! I've decided having 2 almost identical bikes doesn't make much sense and I've saved a couple of grand during the various lock downs so watch this space...

🤔🤔............ 🤓(that’s me eagerly watching this space) to coin a well known game show saying. “Give us a clue” Pete...👍

Looking at all sorts Michael, old F650, Himmo, Meteor, Cbf250, Cb300r and Z250sl. Have to wait till we're allowed to visit dealers and have test rides etc...

Absolutely no offence taken Gareth, I feel I deserve a little “ribbing” over the time it’s taking for me to complete the tracker 🤔😉👍
Hopefully it’ll be worth it in the end🤞🤞

Take it easy on yourself, fella. I have heard of people challenging themselves with more than one build at a time, but not with the other build being a house 🤯

Ok - I have just completed the club stand application form for the Classic Show at Stafford 3rd & 4th July 2021

I have suggested we would show 8 bikes and i've asked if we could have the usual stand on the balcony - im sure we could squeeze a few more on if required - so please let me know if you are interested in showing a bike.

Usual rules - arrive Friday (Saturday AM MAY be possible) bike needs to be on the stand until end of Sunday (16:00) Camping is free for Fri and Sat night - showers & toilets available.

Evening Gareth, yes mate count me in, I can defo bring the (almost finished 🤣) tracker failing that I can bring my new spitfire if you’d prefer. Either way I can be there along with a couple of huuuge bags of jelly babies 👶. Looking forward to it already 😉
Cheers, Michael
