any ideas when this will take place next year? i have to get in early with my leave.

No date set yet - have to check with the pub for availability.  Will be around Easter as usual.  What do people think about using the Easter weekend so you get the extra days off, or do you prefer a weekend or two after Easter (as I know some have family stuff on at Easter)?  Easter Sunday is 12th April next year, so is fairly early.  Colin at the Shepherd's Rest has a big thing Easter Sunday for local families, but doesn't necessarily stop us being there as well.

Hi Steve - personally I'd prefer not to travel over on the Easter weekend, so a little later would suit me.

Been to see Colin and looks like the Shepherd's Rest gathering will happen on 24th to 26th April 2020. That is the same weekend as the Cookstown 100 if anyone fancies watching some road racing.

Excellent Steve, that's a happy coincidence! I doubt if any of them will beat the storming lap of the course I did on the mighty Jawa last year though!  :o ;)

Just thought I would bump up this years Shepherd's Rest weekend again - looking forward to it along with the rest of the Northern Ireland crew.

That's great Steve. About a dozen of us were up there on Saturday night for what has become our January gathering. Great craic as usual and the roaring fire was most welcome as the temperature was well below zero - Colin let us kip in the recreation room thankfully.
