Title: After market CDI for Duke single?

After SteveC#222 kindly sent me a Maplin Ignition CDI activated by points, I was going to use it in the Duke 450 rebuild. I still have it and checked it out today and still havering whether to use it!  :-\ :-[

Been on line and had a look at these two other systems, I know, they are going to cost, but running a Duke on modern 'fuel' may require something a bit different from the old fag paper adjusted points, timed with a bent spoke down the plug hole and stretched springs holding the bob weights in place on the mechanical advance and retard unit!  ;)

So, would the electricary literate amongst you care to impart an opinion or wisdom on these two potential ignition systems for the Duke 450 single?
