The XBR i bought early last year had some pretty crude home made handlebar adapters on which i have never been happy with the look or feel of. After much prevarication i finally ordered up a pair from Germany and while not cheap they are well made and have considerably improved the look and feel of my bike.

hi xbally they look well those adapters ,,it would be interesting to see if a local engineering could copy them and what it would cost you could s**l them here i,m sure a few xbr owners here would be interested in them i would be just a thaught tommy
-
Yes Tommy-they are expensive for what they are .I don't suppose the exchange rate with the euro helps either.
-
hi xbally i might go for a set of those risers ,did you have any problems master cyclinder or clutch mount onthe bars as they look like they are at an angle on the xbr bars did they go on ordinary bars ok ta tommy
-
Tommy-no they just bolted on to a set of Renthall bars if i remember correctly.

thanks xbally tommy

Well it's looking like I'll have to buy a pair of these fancy smancy risers as yet again it looks like I'm going to be let down with my cnc yoke conversion for the tracker project, which I AM DEFO taking to the Stafford show. Just not quite with the front end I'd have hoped 😥😥

Well Michael as i said before they are quality items but on the pricey side for what they are.

Evening Martin, the LSL riser kit, are they a two piece affair or a one piece ??
The cheapest I've found so far are £175 is that the kind of money you had to spend?
Cheers, Michael

Evening Michael. Mine came in two pieces and if i recall rightly were approx £125 . I think I got them from Germany. I'll check and revert back if I'm wrong. Martin

Many thanks Martin, although it's looking at the moment like I might be back on track with sorting some fancy smancy cnc yokes again... fingers crossed, 🤞🤞
Cheers, Michael

Yes the price was about right + postage of £19! from Europe - i think the even poorer exchange rate may have pushed the price even higher?Looking at my first post I see that i did say they were from Germany. Good luck with the project anyway.
