Mr Pendant here...

That first one is real pretty - but is more a street scrambler than a cafe racer...  Lovely pics, what is it about airhead BMWs that look so right as Cafe Racers - when they should look a complete mess.

Love the Honda single in the 'bed frame, reminds me (was going to use another word but cannot spell it!  he he) of a wonderful Benelli 4 that I saw on the IoM - had the Old buggers waxing about it and some saying how bad it was that it was being used on the road - was actually a Honda 4 (500?  550?  750?) in a widline frame - but was real sexy.

At the Margam park hill climbs there was a guy running a Honda 350/4 classic race bike - well actually it was a modern CBR350 lump in a bespoke frame - looked the biz and ruptured eardrums in Minehead

Love the Honda single in the 'bed frame,

I spoke to this guy once, he told me that the frame is an ex-Owen Greenwood manx chassis that he had to cut four inches out of to make the XBR sit right! He's an engineer so the work looks good, but how many people would attack a manx frame with provenance with an angle grinder?

This Beemer is, imho, the finest café racer ever built:

There''s a great site devoted to it which you will find if you search for 'team incomplete'.

Cheers

Mmmm lovely looking bike

Now - I have not heard about using bath sealant on spoked wheels so you can use tubeless tires - has anyone? - Does it work, can it be done on any rim or do they have to have the right profile lip?
