Hello, I recently bought a late generation SRX400, I very impressed by the quality of these bike I once owned a early 80s SRX250 as well :)
My bikes not standard it has metallic fleck black and purple paint with polished rims and digital clocks.
I would like to improve cold starting and running as the fueling seems to be off, first thoughts are to clean out the carbs (look complicated) YDIS and perform a full service, thoughts on best oil, plug and air filters?

What is the issue with starting ?. Does it take time to catch? turn over slowly ? run roughly when cold. The carbs are not that complicated, strip one at a time and you wont go wrong. I have always used Castrol 10W40 Semi synthetic with out an issues.
