Might not be the prettiest, but it works and I rather like the cowboy under tone. All I need now is the hat and droopie tash :-)

Aye Pat,
Nice to see 'Dolly' looking resplendent in the new dominatrix outfit! When is the 'Miss Whiplash' emblem adorning the tank?
Are you repairing?
Look after yoursel'.

There's nowt wrong with that back tyre, I know a certain Scots man that could get another 1000 miles out of that!
Makes me feel guilty now 'cos I gave him a pair with as much tread on as that!
PS Can someone send Pat a set of instructions on how to change a tyre (breaks out into fits of laughter and rolls off onto the floor slapping thigh!)
Sorry Pat to hear of your bad luck.

Ello Steve!!
Funny you say that! My back tyre is *so* bald I now have to reluctantly put on the free rubber you gave me. I say "reluctantly", as there is still a little bit of tread left at the very edge... Will maybe cut it off, and use the blocks for something... :)
Dropped the DR being an arse in a muddy carpark, so its an excuse to put a new coil, give it a good clean, lube all the cables and put on new rubber.
Cheers

An enquiry as to your state of health only warrants:

Sorry Bill, my comment was aimed at those who laugh at my tyre replacing mishaps, not your good and caring self:-)
As for the state of my back, well it's still buggered I'm afraid :-( Day to day stuff is OK and bearable, but walking over a mile is nasty and running/tennis/cycling a definite NO NO! As for riding Dolly, I can manage the comute, but wouldn't want to go much further.
Doc has refered me for an MRI scan, but said "Don't hold your breath, this could take 6 months or even longer" Been having physio, but doesn't seem to do much good, and I can't afford private treatment, no matter how good it might be.
Keeping cheerful though, and reading a lot, but don't expect to hear of me riding very far for a while. Take care matey, and make sure you look after your back! (that goes to all of you)
