Just bought a Honda FX650 Vigor and can't find a printed manual for this model. Anyone know what the nearest available manual would be? XL600, XR ???

Aye Oldvelo,
Sorry not my neck of the woods, but I'd have thought the info on this site would give you plenty of basic background as the FX and SLR are both Spanish built varients of the original NX Dominator so far as I am aware, I stand to be corrected by Jethro, Pat et al, they being owners of these beasties.
Here's a link to some background chit chat, which may give confort: Background_chit_chat (http://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=52299)
Link to site where manuals etc are downloadable: DOMINATOR_OWNERS/WORKSHOP_MANUALS (http://www.eikholt.net/hpalt/dommi/index01.htm)
There is also this download site for which a small payment USD is required: US$_DOWNLOAD_SITE_FOR_MANUALS (http://www.tradebit.com/filesharing.php/search/1/honda+nx650+nx+650+dominator)
Both Haynes and Clymer do manuals for the XL500/600 and XR600/650 4-valve singles.
If I see my Honda dealer acquaintance, I shall make enquiries, but this may be a wee while and if you turn up a suitable alternative meantime, use it.
I hope this helps.
My regards, Bill.

Thanks for that Bill. Its much easier to take a printed book out to the shed than keep printing pages from a downloaded document or running backwards and forwards to keep referring back to the computer. However it may just be that I have to go down that route. I did have a Haynes book for the XL600 etc but seem to have given it away - typical.
