Title: XBR Tacho running at twice engine speed

Any ideas?

It's done it before and then works OKafter a while.

I believe it takes a pulse off the CDI unit .

Summat to do with the wasted spark?

My Beemer did the same thing recently when I had some dodgy connections on the main terminal board. It sorted itself after I proddled about.
