Hello All
Have been doing some research on the question on will a srx400 1jL 1985 cylinder head fit on to a srx600 1jk 1985. I have had some difficulty in finding technical information on the srx400 and there is some differences between 400 and 600, carburettor and valve sizes are difference.
There is two things I need to find out the size of the cam sprocket and cam drive sprocket on the 400 and the lenth of the cam chain of the 400.
If I can replace the 400 head on to the 600 engine, should I run with the 600 carb or with the 400 carb?
Input or advice would be helpful
Regards Gardener

The 400 and 600 share parts numbers for the camchain and camchain sprocket.
If you are running a 400 barrel then the 400 carbs make more sense.
