ok, my mates dr that was in the for sales here ended up not being collected by the breaker who bought it, so ive now been and collected it, and its pretty much spot on. but before i fit the timing chain for the balance shafts has anyone here got one and any advice as to how i set it up.

Yes, I have one, an SES, tension the chain exactly as in the book, I can lend you one to copy if needed, but when you come to the final bit, tighten the locking nut so that the mechanism can only just move, when correct lock it. This sets the tension correctly first go, if you tension the chain with the lock nut too loose you will end up having to do it again all too soon, DAMHIK.
