SWMBO returned from week's furlough Friday pm. Some tanning evident, stop
Saturday spent rewiring HQ's upper lighting circuits, stop
Bike run for short period Sunday, took trainee operative to Cafe for breakfast followed by test of kite handling skills, stop.
Much evidence of enemy activity at cafe, many sets of brightly coloured racewear, stop.
Rebuild of stealth outfit ('the big black bastard' TM) on hold due to scheduling difficulties, stop
Please advise re current status of agent 'Siobhan' in regard to the Aldridge Hungarian issue, stop

Bike activity stopped by biological agent stop
3 days in bed only stopped by trip out to find place for an interview other half had and to go get a dog from rescue place, stop.
Found MSR was busted stop. Braze/weld between actual stove and base has gone, stop. Tried to replace on e-bay but prices stupid so had to stop, stop. Fixed with fence wire, so hope it'll stop where I put it, stop.

Went to the Panther Owners Club winter rally near Telford good do and a fine diplay of exploding fruit in the camp field I will try to post a picture if I can.

Well, if you've got the TLS front brake, all you need to do to make it stop convincingly is:-
a) fit the Hitchcocks heavy-duty front brake cable, outside the casquette head, and achieving a straight pull;
b) fit their improved linings front & rear;
c) correctly adjust the TLS front setup AND set both operating arms properly (this is often overlooked).
I speak from experience, as my 612cc GT cafe-racer was out-braking most of the 1960s road-going machines at the 2005 Classic Bike Mag trackday at Cadwell (especially at the nasty little chicane) - as well as out-accelerating most of the BSA Goldstars on the straights. So there!
If you've not aleady got the TLS front brake, then a conversion is well worth it....
