Hi I have just got hold of a 250rsa it starts and runs ok but the clutch is slipping badly ,is it easy to replace and is their anything awkward or difficult in the job. I would like to bring the bike up to a good rideable state. Are their any modifications or changes that are still available.I rather fancy a chop version! Any one seen a nice one given that I like riding with my feet forward. Dagodave 8)

It's a pretty straightforward job nothing difficult about it, you'll probably need a new RH engine cover gasket and while you're at it pull the 'filter' out, clean it and get any crap out of the slot where it fits. Before you tackle this make sure you have some 'free-play' at the handlebar lever as frankly bike clutches unless they're badly abused rarely need replacing.
