Title: DR 385 jetting
Post by: guest1628 on March 10, 2013, 08:35:12 PM
Hi all, new to site so please go gently.....I have a '93 DR 385 and have been advised to upjet it from standard if not already done. Trouble is, the adviser was a bit unclear about new jet sizes. Any one know the recommended jets for the 385 upgrade??

Cheers, Notnats ???

Aye Notnats,

Welcome to the loony bin  ;) or comfy old leather Chesterfield with a malt at your side! ::)

A little 'Googling' produced this article:

And this one from the 'Valleys', which could light up a few lights amongst the "Arbenigwyr silindr Sengl y Rhondda" or "gwrth-gymdeithasol gyrwyr beiciau modur o goedwigoedd Cymru" as others may refer to them!  :o  :o

This place in the States gives some idea of whats available:

Pro-cycle (http://www.procycle.us/bikepages/dr350.html)

and finally, this man who distributes Wiseco products over here in the UK. Good old fashioned service and knowledge available, when I have bought stuff for an SRX600: Eastwood_Racing (http://www.wiseco.co.uk/)

All the best and I hope you get the beasty up and running.

regards, Bill.

;) Huuuge thanks Bill. Theres a chap in Lincolnshire who's really up on all things DR who said to go up one size on all jets but especially the starter jet. Standard main is #127.5, mines got #150 so THATS why it floods easily and its thirsty......Regards, Rich
