Title: SRX + single cylinder meeting Germany 2013
Post by: Mattes on November 24, 2012, 11:10:34 PM
Hi,

I am glad to announce we`ll have the 11th German SRX - Mailinglist Meeting 28th to 30th June 2013 in the region Hunsrück/Mosel. We organize the meeting this year again because the dutch guys made my wife drunken - at the last monoconnection meeting - to say: we `ll organize the meeting in Germany 2013! Normally I`ve planned to do it never again. But here we are - for any information about the meeting please look here:

Hi Pat,

it`s ok for us - no problem! We`re open for a lot of things but if we decide to have a best bike contest we won`t include the multi cylinders or something like big blue outfits  :P

Which kind of room should I reserve for you?

Regards Matthias

Hi All, Arrived back home Tuesday afternoon after an excellent weekend in Germany. It was nice to see some familiar faces and most spoke English (one with an Irish accent), which was a help. The Hotel was a good choice, recently renovated, good food, cheap beer.....what more do you need.
The only rain we had was on Saturday morning, so the rideout was delayed a couple of hours, but the sun shone in the afternoon and we had a pleasant ride led by Matthias.
Martyn and Dan were continuing on their trip to the Black Sea Coast when Pat & I left for Holland....to be overtaken later by Lambert on his pretty Ducati. We pulled into the next fuel stop and there he was filling up. After another chat, we left him having a smoke.....and didn't see him again.
 Dave.

What excellent fun, a great rally courtesy of our good German friends. The ride to the Black Sea was a hoot. 12 countries 11 capital cities [if you count Strasburg] 4 stunning mountain passes, Transalpina, Trans fagarasan, Shipka, and the Grossglockner. Met some wonderful friendly people and had a swim in the Black Sea. Arrived home @ 1700 ish this evening after a swift half in the local to remind us what we had been missing and to b.s. the our friends with our exploits. A tad over 5000 miles in three and a half weeks. Just waiting for the credit card bill to hit the mat now.
