Dear all I need to replace my right hand crankcase cover, I have found one but it has the Nuts/connections for a oil cooler whereas the one I my bike hasn't, will it be compatible?
-
Hello
I don't know if it is compatible, but I have one without tappings for an oil cooler, And I'm looking for a cover like the one you have found. Maybe can we exchange? I live in France. Where are you from?

I think you'll have to install a short hose/tube/pipe? from a connection to the other one instead of the cooler in order to restore the continuity of oil circuit.
Or seal the connections and create a continuity into the cover.
My English is not good. I hope I'll be understood.
We're talking about clutch cover, is it right?

Either plug the oil cooler connections AND put a shorter bolt into the bleed port which located between the oil cooler port castings, or have a pipe made up.

Hi Jacques 31, I have found a RH casing (clutch cover) without tappings although I think it is from a SRX400, do you know if this is compatible?
The casing with the tappings for the oil cooler is available from DK Spares TEL 01782 862200 ask for PETER.
I am from England
