The XBR I am restoring has a damaged r/h clip-on/handlebar. The end is chewed up so it has obviously been dropped. I am a tall guy and find the tucked up riding position is made worse by the bars. Is there an option to fit something slightly raised from another machine?

Aye J. Y. Kelly,
Put "XBR handlebars" into the search engine in the top right of this page and you should be able to read this and more:

As far as I know Honda CBX550 F2 handlebars fit straight on. Most of the XBR cables will still fit but you may need to carefully re-route and check throttle cables are not being pulled on full lock. I think you may have to replace the choke cable - you may have to make one up.
Gives a useful rise over the standard bars."
It's a start and other maybe along soon to chip in their pennyworth. Hope you find what you are after.
Regards, Bill.
