I want to do this modification for my SRX that will go on tracks.
If someone has good advices or suggestions, I am ready to listen to him ;)
Thanks a lot.

Which model FZR600 swingarm are you using and are you going to use twinshock or convert to monoshock. I am in the very early stages of fitting a FZR400 (3TJ) swingarm to my twinshock.

Well, actually I really don't know the year and model it has been extracted from .... It is perhaps a FZR 400 model because I bought it on the bay to an english man. I don't remember and the computer I used crashed (yes, a PC)
I will transform it in a two shock absorbers model like this (I am not enough good at mechanic to weld and install a monoshock and I am not sure it can loosen weight) :

The 3TJ arm looks like this HERE (http://www.saltmine.org.uk/fzr/3tj-mod.html)
The main reasons for choosing it was that a) I had one in the loft b) its the same length as the srx twinshock arm. I also have an SRX monoshock swingarm but its around 50mm longer so chose not to use it.
I have a habit of over-engineering things so I suspect I will be adding a fair amount of weight.

Mine looks like a SRX 3SX Monoshock swingarm : rectangular alloy.

Bonjour SRXweb,
Nice 'purposeful' bike in the image! ;)
Magnifique.
Regards, Bill.

Yes, indeed.
It is not mine, ... but its a good start to copy.
I'd like to see what is under the tank : new airbox, big filters, ... ?
If someone knows how to calculate the volume of an airbox ??
