Title: New bits and pieces.
Post by: Gordon on February 06, 2007, 10:40:53 AM
After that Mike Edwards bloke cut the bottom out of my original fuel tank, I was a bit concerned - but he has spent hours with bits of carboard this week making templates for a new airbox, fuel and oil tanks.
Apparently they are going to be fabricated this week; then he just has to whip up a wiring loom, get some exhausts made and I could be off on my first holiday to Spain.
Perhaps I'm being a bit optimistic, but it's just that I can't wait...

Gordon - be careful - he is using the wrong grade cardboard there - a Sainsburys cornflake packet would be lighter...

Looking good

Well the cardboard templates seemed to work, Mike and Uncle Peter worked very hard for two days fabricating my new airbox, oil and fuel tanks plus radiator modifications and other assorted bits and bobs.
During the weekend I will get Mike to post some pictures on my blog site gordons blog (http://www.no1bloke.blogspot.com)
