The curate has cleared it with chief of staff (GCHQ) but needs confirmation from commanding officer (God Squad) before I am cleared for take off.
Steff

I'll aim to get there straight from work on the Friday night then. Venison casserole.... Yum! Should I bring anything??

We can have a fire in this camping area but there's not too much wood about, I'll try and take some or may even try to contact Sue to see if there's any for sale in the area.
Any other ideas?

needless to say once we're all parked up and erected :o a communal fire will ensue

Yep, great time had and thanks to you all for the company. Special thanks to Jules for the stew on Friday and the ride in the chair on Saturday. Slowly softening to sidecars me, and Elephant 2013 booked in the diary with wifey.
Nice ride home via the back roads to Monmouth before dashing off into the Forest of Dean for a trip down memory lane.
Tent hanging up, bike (and me) washed and sat waiting for a roast chicken dinner. Excellent end to the weekend.
Cheers guys
Perfect Pat. [well, it's better than Pat Crash!]

Loved the Jewels Stu.

Cheers for the weekend (well Friday anyway!) and, Yes!, the stew was excellent.
Sorry to miss most of you on the Sunday but mothers home cooking, a few rum & cokes, DIY for geriatric parents (with cr@p tools and no stepladder), Strictly, witness to car crash (Sunday morning) and the fact that it was pi$$ing down Saturday night, meant I got back when most of you had left.
Hope you all got back OK.

Well boys sounds like a good time was had by all. It's a shame I couldn't make it but all was not lost.
On Saturday I was left to myself in my half shed and now the Guzzi is that much closer to losing her gearbox.
Sunday Keith and I travelled to Wigan to collect him a Turkish copy of an East German classic. A good day and we finished off with stuffing the bike into his back porch so he can work on it in comfort.
On arrival home I was taken to the local for dindins and three pints of the aforementioned cola.
Followed by a pleasant evening with Mrs and a bottle of vino.
Not bad for a fella who missed what sounded like a bloody good outing.

Only made Sat night but it was a good one. Thanks go to Rob G and Ritchie (from Southampton) for giving me whisky after a belly full of Felinfoel stout. This ensured I was face down on my tent, sorry in my tent, at a far too early hour. My jugular severing beer mat was directed at a vampiress, looking like a Bram Stoker extra, who had just flown in from Transylvania to spend the night at Llanthony Abbey! In my drunken state I thought she may have been tempted to go for my own jugular in the middle of night, to get at my alchohol drenched blood stream. The beer mat meant I slept safe and sound that night!
