Good news - we've secured a stand at the Uttoxeter bike show on Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd July 2011.
We need to exhibit a minimum of 4 bikes, and to get them listed in the show guide I need to let the show organisers know details of the bikes and the owners by tomorrow (sorry about the short notice). If people can't commit by tomorrow we will still have a stand but the details won't appear in the show guide.
If you show your bike you will get a free camping and entry pass for the show for the full weekend. The organisers have tightened up the ticket allowance this year, for those attending but not exhibiting please let me know as some spare tickets will be available.
We will be setting the stand up on the Friday afternoon so people exhibiting can bring their bike along on Friday afternoon, alternatively early on Saturday morning. Bikes being exhibited need to be on the stand on both the Saturday and the Sunday.
Ideally it would be good if the exhibiters could spend some time on the stand on both days to answer questions about their bikes. We would also need help from non-exhibiters to man the stand during Saturday and Sunday to promote the Thumper Club. Anybody willing to exhibit a bike please PM me ASAP as there are limited numbers.
In previous years this event has proved to be very enjoyable, with a bit of camping, a few beers in the town and even the odd local cricket match for entertainment, so all you TCers come and join us!

Ian, as we discussed, if Christine (chippit) brought hers along as well they would make an excellent display on their own.
Gareth, I will have to drop my stuff off on Friday afternoon and then come back on Saturday morning as I have a wedding reception to go to in Nantwich that evening. Luckily Uttoxeter is on route so not a problem.

Im hoping to ride up on the Saturday to Uttoxeter on the blue Hybrid SRX. Im hoping I can get a photo of all 3 of "my" SRXs (my 2 plus Trevors)but I may need a bit of help with this. What do you think of my chances?
