Title: srx400 front sprocket

have hit a snag in taking engine out cant undo the nut holding the front sprocket in place ..its a different set up to my 600 comprising of a tab washer over a 30mm nut...have bent tab washer back applied brake and put bike into gear but nut wont budge...it wouldnt be a reverse thread would it? anyone else had problems like this or have any tips have applied loads of penetrant spray to no affect...many thanks

Easiest way...
Use an AIR gun !!!!
Used one on my XT500 & the clutch centre & crank nut on my XBR.....

unfortunately i dont have access to an ar gun..

An air gun is the way to go, take it to your local car garage and get them to undo it for you.

If you are replacing the sprocket make sure you get the right one as the splines are different for some 400's.

pushed bike down to local garage and they got it off in seconds with air gun...thanks for all your help
