well, on the assumption that it is much the same as the srx6 lump

once drained (engine and tank) and a new filter fitted

fill up tank to mark on dipstick.

remove bleed screw from top of filter housing

turn engine over a few times with ignition off (assuming here that it's a kickstart)

switch ignition on, start engine....let it TICK OVER for 30 seconds.....or until you get oil appearing at bleed hole (if its a good pump you'll get a nice squirt of oil, keep a bit of rag handy)  kill the engine as soon as you see oil at the bleed hole, refit the screw, start engine again, run for a few mins, stop engine, check oil level (will have dropped as filter area has now filled with oil) top up as required.

now take bike for a decent ride, then, once back home, leave for 5 mins then check level again.

job done.

I get my filters and oil from halfrauds.....i use halfrauds own oil....10/40 semi synthetic....

I think the filter is number X302...and cost £2.99 here in Telfraud
