Title: painting callipers

hi all....whats the best paint to use on brake callipers or doesnt it matter my srx callipers are looking shabby.... thanks

well, being a bit of a poser....i gave mine a good wire brushing, then sprayed them with halfrauds gold, then,(when the paint was good and hard) using very fine 'wet & dry' paper on glass and wetted with brasso, i placed the caliper outer face down and polished off the paint which left a shiny round area then a gold ring then an outer shiny ring.....if you look at the calipers you'll see what i mean. anyway, that was 2 years ago, done loads of miles, lots of washes and polishes, and they still look good

that sounds very artistic Steve...I might go for halfords blue but cant choose between spray and tin paint ...decisions decisions!
