I've ridden many miles in a Dnepr chair and you'd be amazed how quickly dislocated  vertebra can heal with only minor surgery and pain killers!!   anyway, look on the bright side, assuming your mates outfit is set up for the UK ie chair on the left, when you're on the Continent it will be on the wrong side so when he overtakes you'll be the first to see the lorry coming!!

I can't find it now, but I did have a photo of the same outfit which fired anti tank rockets!!!!

You can buy the outfit in the UK but sadly without the interesting shooty bits
