Likewise, can't see the link :-\
But I tell you what, if you lot are coming up to the best Thumper Roads in the UK you'd BETTER NOT be doing it in August while I'm away!! ;)

They've been already mate, Simon M, SteveD, Crusty and Alan Stringer.

Don't know if this will work but here are some of the pics from our trip in what appears to be a bit of a mixed order!

Well that was a bit of a 'male chicken' up wasn't it!
I could edit or delete but enjoy / have a laugh!

Looks to be a belter, 1400 miles eh? Good effort

and didn't even stop by for a free brew and a chinwag! :o :'(
There'd better be some grovelling and forelock tugging when I see that lot next!! >:(
-
How big-headed is that, "they visited my massive country and didn't even say hello"
I imagine the queen gets quite miffed when I visit my mate in London but I don't stop at Windsor Castle on the way :D :D :D
Only kidding ;)

's ok, I'll put in a good word for you next time I see her ;) ;D
-
We stayed over to the West, apart from the foray over to Newcastle when Crusty's GPS was trying to get us back to Tan Hill!! ;D
-
Looks like you had fun :)
-
A personal and public apology from me Smudge, I for one would have been more than happy to seek out you and Bill but I don't know where you are and we were 'exploring' predominantly the West coast and going no further than the top of Loch Lomond.
I would be more than happy to come over to your patch sometime as I firmly believe in the 'local knowledge' principal of using others to show their locality in it's best light.
Next time???????????????? ;D
-
Ahh, the South West then ;) the best is yet to come.... ;D
I'll look forward to the "next time" ;) :)

Aye Steve,
Wanlockhead? That grand wee run past Drumlanrig down to Thornhill, then Sanquhar, Dalmellington etc. Or up to New Galloway, where there is a brace of 916' ;D! Nutters!! :o
Up to Loch Lomond out over The Rest and then either down to Dunoon and across on the Clyde ferry or on out into Argyll ;) ;)
Wherever ye went, we hope you enjoyed it ;D
Good health.
Regards, Bill.
