We will have a stand at the Uttoxeter show again in 2010. Same pitch and all that.
Please let me know if you are interested in coming along and/or displaying a bike.
Boyd, will you be trying to sort out the cricket pavilion?

I've contacted them previously but had no response. Will try again in the new year; and also contact the Ringwood Brewery regarding sponsership - they make 'Old Thumper'!

No, I was a bit surprised that they didn't include any dates on the confirmation letter.

Steve, It wouln't be the same without the social centre tent in the middle of everything, offering food and drink to all and a place to stop and chat anytime. If we can make it we will be there, thoroughly enjoyed last year, we did'nt watch much cricket but heard a lot about it during the afternoon and evening.

The VJMC sent me a booking form today (I displayed my bike in the individual concours section last year), and I can confirm that the show dates are:
Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th July.
The site is open Friday evening for setting up and camping.

Whats happening with this event. Anyone got an update? ???

Sorry, my recent absence from all things biking and club prevented me from reporting that the organisers have sent us a form to list the bikes we want to display.
Anyone keen on showing their bike at this show? Pleas add your names to the list and I'll pm you for more details

I'll be coming to Uttoxeter. Any chance of getting the organisers to allocate us the same camping area? I now have a contact name for the cricket club and will try to negotiate the use of their bar/toilets/showers. Do you have any idea of numbers coming yet?

I can put my SRX-400 on the stand if you like, but quite a few show-goers have already seen it.

Hi GC, is there any news on the Uttoxeter front?
Ian :)

Ongoing Thanks for keeping the club running !!

;D ;D ;D ;D

Ifor, Tim, Hilary and meself had a great chilled weekend here with a good ride down and back on as many small roads(with obligatory stop at Dolwen garage cafe) as we could find to accommodate the top speeds of the Enfield and Norton and to make us feel as if we were moving, it was like being a teenager on a 250 again holding it flat out and not having to worry about braking for bends, 6 hours to do the 160 miles. ;D
Good to meet up with some usual faces and meet a couple of new, didn't get around to meeting everyone but probably will do in the future.
Cracking bacon rolls in the morning thanks to GC and Gareth.
Look forward to the next,
Mark
