Title: SR500 Puller
Post by: mini-thumper on December 06, 2009, 09:58:01 AM
Morning
Anyone got an alternator puller for a '79 Yamaha SR500 I could borrow? If local-ish I could pick up or would gladly pay postage/insurance.

Many thanks

Boyd

Hi there Boyd. I made a puller for the SRX. I cant remember what one looks like for the SR, so I will dig it out and photograph it and try to get some measurements for it. If it fits you are more than welcome to borrow it. It is heavy tho as I made it to last, not just do one job!. Im in Telford if it helps any at all.

Regards

Ian

Aye Boyd,

Would the BMC job I lent for the race machine be any use? A call to Andy might produce the results!  ;D I hope you get sorted.
My regards, Bill.

Thanks to you both for your replies.

Bill, I'll have a word with Andy as he is staying at my place next weekend on-route for Glasgow; he might remember he has it, and then may even bring it with him!

Ian, if Bill's puller proves to be the wrong type/size I'll take you up on your offer.

Thanks again
Boyd
