I gleaned this from an American site, and surprise, surprise nearly all straight answers. Can any of you add any advice to the forlorne Silverwing USA family

Am I the only one who has the key problem in the ignition, I end up flipping the key around thinking it would be better but no so it takes me at least a minute.The key wold go in but not all the way.


This sounds like a problem "Acme" Hare Restorer can't even cure. As it is a serious subject I did not post it in "Humour"

Aye Kurt,

Reads as though the lock is a bit clagged up! Give it a rinse with brake/switch cleaner, then a wee touch of graphite dust with a wee dribble of ACF50. All worked in gently by inserting the key and gently trying to rotate it!  ;D

The inuendo is endless and I have tried refrain. Honest!  ::)

Or if you have ran out of the old graphite dust(i keep some in a tin for such occasions :D)
why not use this,a non CFC based aerosol graphite spray,no more crushing up pencils!!! :D :D
