Kind of definitively not a Thumper but a way into sidecars.

Ye gods!
I've reached that point in my life when a jawa seems a practical proposition :'(
I'm very interested in the clothing to go with them, especially the ex-council yellow two piece waterproofs and the tesco carrier bag overboots.
The summer riding kit of DPM camouflage combat jacket is quite nice as well.

Sounds like Jethros riding gear.

Hi all, very strange that the 4 stroke 250 twin uses 2 stroke oil.......

......the tesco carrier bag overboots....
Very posh, wouldn't Poundland or Bargain Booze be more appropriate.

Oi !!!!
Having had several Jawa/CZs and one with a Velorex attatched I'm glad to see them back ;D ;D
But how does the 350 Stroker get through the emmission laws ?

Unless I am mistaken, the 250cc four stroke engine looks like that last doomed Honda CB250 effort. Hmm. Maybe the Jawa will be considerably cheaper than what Honda charged.....

"oi !!!"
You forget that I was there when you bought DPM trousers to go with your DPM jacket in Abergavenny market.
Sounds like I've got you bang to rights on that one ;)
I don't know how they get past emissions regs, but the trailer is nice (must have changed the rules on single wheel trailers somewhere down the line), as is the sidecar, which is apparently braked.
Not cheap though, or at least not as cheap as Jawas once were. Just under £3K for the basic bike, though you can save a whole £100 by junking the electric start. Why would a 350 two stroke twin need one anyway ? The outfit is a smidgeon under £5 1/2K. Solo and trailer is £3795. £75 for heated grips.
I am also not so keen on the tank styling and electronic speedo etc. With a bigger tank it would be tempting mind, and a lot cheaper than the Ural and probably no slower.
"Produces 5 more horse power than a Royal Enfield 350 Bullet (at lower rpm).
Produces 10 more NM of torque than a Honda CBF250 (again at lower rpm)
Has a better power to weigh ratio than a Yamaha 250 Dragstar"
